BOI promoted “Ros Dee” Project of Thai Ajinomoto

April 21, 2004−Tokyo−Ajinomoto Co.,Inc.(Ajinomoto, President: Kunio Egashira, Headquarter: Tokyo Japan) announced that Board of Investment, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister General Chavalit Yongchaiyuth, resolved on April 19, 2004 to promote the project to produce food ingredients (meat flavor seasonings) under the trade name of “Ros Dee” applied by Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd. The project will have the total investment of approximately 1,434.7 Million Baht with the annual production capacity of 34,000 tons and to be located the factory in Nong Khae Industrial Estate, Saraburi Province. The new factory will start its operation by January in 2005. The investment by Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) is to respond to the rapidly increased demand of the markets in Ros Dee products. The factory in Nong Khae Industrial Estate will also be the base for additional food products to be introduced by Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) in the future.
