Corporate Citizenship

Message

Ajinomoto Group's aim regarding Group philosophy is to develop into "a unique company with worldwide trust".

A universal wish is that the twenty first century be an inspiring one, but it is important for the community we live in to continue to be healthy and full of vitality in order for the wish to be realized. For this reason, it goes without saying, that it is necessary for all people throughout the world to have a common perception of the issues facing local societies and work with concerted efforts to solve them.

Ajinomoto Group has been promoting global corporate citizenship activities mainly related to "Nutrition and Health", such as "Nutrition and Health Education Programs for developing countries", supporting overseas affiliates operating regional corporate citizenship activities, as well as employee volunteer activities and the corporate citizenship activities of the five foundation groups. Through the promotion of these, we have developed the awareness as a good corporate citizen and learned the importance of corporate citizenship.

In the twenty first century, the themes of corporate citizenship are focused on wide-ranging issues such as environment, society, human rights, resources, etc., which the local society should work on. While all of these require long-term continuous activities, and they are difficult processes, we firmly believe that working together enables their realization and a future full of hope.

Ajinomoto Group will continue advancing these activities providing local societies with "A taste of the future" in the global arena. Activities such as conservation of the global environment, realization of a healthy and vital local community and support activities for children, who open the way to the future, along with our many other activities.

We request your continued support and understanding of the corporate citizenship activities of Ajinomoto Group wishing for "worldwide 'Nutrition and Health' and a better tomorrow".
