CSR Management

How the Ajinomoto Group Implements CSR

CSR Management is a part of the basic strategy contained in the Fiscal 2005-2010 Medium- to Long-Term Management Plan of the Ajinomoto Group A-dvance10. In April 2005, Ajinomoto Co., Inc. established a CSR Department to strengthen its capacity in this area. Following the organizational restructuring that took place in April 2007 with the goal of strengthening the functions of the Corporate Division, communication was given a more prominent place in the group's implementation of CSR. Under the new structure, the new CSR & Public Communications Department not only handles PR functions, but is also in charge of corporate citizenship and human rights awareness, and cooperates closely with relevant departments regarding business ethics, quality assurance, purchasing, and the environment, among other issues.
