Notes:
CFC: Chlorofluorocarbon. Manufacture of CFC was banned in developed countries in 1996 under the Montreal Protocol.
HCFC: Hydrochlorofluorocarbon. Manufacture of HCFC will be banned from 2020 in developed countries under the Montreal Protocol.
HFC: Hydrofluorocarbon. HFC does not destroy the ozone layer, and is known as a CFC substitute.
 
Volume of emissions: Non-intentional emissions caused by losses during equipment maintenance, etc.
