Establishment of New Distribution Company,
AJINOMOTO LOGISTICS CORPORATION |

| Improving consolidated management is one of the five key management strategies of Ajinomoto Co., Inc. As such, the company is carrying out a reorganization of consolidated businesses with overlapping functions in order to strengthen the management base of each company in the Ajinomoto Group. |

On April 1, the three distribution companies of the Ajinomoto Group were combined to form a new company, AJINOMOTO LOGISTICS CORPORATION.
This new company will integrate the domestic and international logistics functions of the three merging companies, thereby establishing a stronger business foundation and create a unified logistics network throughout Japan. It will aim to be a top class company in the field of food distribution. |

The three distribution companies had built their business steadily with shippers in a variety of industries, in particular Ajinomoto and its group companies.
The establishment of the new company will bring together the management resources and strengths of these three companies. By doing so, the new company will be able to meet the increasingly sophisticated and diverse needs of customers by efficiently providing reliable and speedy distribution services, and thereby achieve further business expansion. |
