Establishment and Management Personnel of
Ajinomoto Packaging Inc. |
| Ajinomoto Co., Inc. has set "improving consolidated management" as one of its five key management strategies. Accordingly, the company is reorganizing its consolidated subsidiaries and affiliates to strengthen the management base of the Ajinomoto Group. |
On October 1, the packaging division of Ajinomoto Takara Corporation, Inc. was integrated into Daimi Corporation Inc. through the assignment of business, and a new company, Ajinomoto Packaging Inc. was established.
This new company will incorporate the packaging functions of its two predecessor companies. In addition to strengthening Ajinomoto's competitiveness in the domestic packaging business and promoting efficiency gains, this is also aimed at achieving further advances in packaging technology. |
| Previously the two companies had provided packaging and sales services for firms in various industries, particularly for Ajinomoto Group companies. The integration of the packaging functions is aimed at creating a stronger business foundation, responding to the increasingly sophisticated and diverse needs of customers, and expanding business, including internationally. |
| Furthermore, the company's West Plant, in association with National Sanitation Week, received the Labor Minister's Award for Excellence on October 2 in recognition of outstanding achievements in managing the workplace environment. |
| Ajinomoto Packaging Inc. aims to concentrate and raise the level of packaging technology to meet the tough demands of customers, and is committed to delivering products that offer a high level of quality and satisfaction. |
