Ajinomoto del
Peru S.A. supports activities including school construction, nutrition
education and holding lectures, and is also conducting research and
development assistance on nutrition. In addition, Fudacion Ajinomoto
Para El Desarrollo De La Comundad, established in 2003 is publlishing
books about nutrition and other related topics.

Nutrition Improvement Project

Centered
in the highlands and jungle areas, we identify
local ingredients (palm oil, banana powder) which
could be fortified micronutrients (vitamin A and
iron), and disseminate them in the community.

We proceeded with the
nutrition improvement project targeting chronic
malnourished children under 2 years old with a
local NPO. We also provided training for people
involved in health care and offer supplemental
information for children's mothers to promote
