It takes its flavor from bonito and kelp.
How to use HON-DASHI

When using ingredients not easily boiled, first put half a block of HON-DASHI into the boiling water with the ingredients.

When ingredients soften, add MISO and the rest of HON-DASHI. As it comes to boil, quickly turn off the heat.
