Pumpkin Fritters

This is a healthy, tasty and easy vegetable umami snack. Let’s have fun making balls and bring them to a potluck party!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound (220 g) pumpkin, steamed
  • 1/4 tsp AJI-NO-MOTO® (MSG)
  • 4 ½ tbsps sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cup wheat flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 pound (100 g) pumpkin, small diced
  • Cooking oil

Directions

  1. Mash the pumpkin with AJI-NO-MOTO®, sugar and salt.

  2. Add in wheat flour, and baking powder. Mix until well combined.

  3. Add in the diced pumpkin into the mixture.

  4. Heat the cooking oil, fry until evenly brown.
