Spinach Pesto Pasta


  • 3/4 pound (about 400g) spinach
  • 10 ounces (300g) basil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 ounces (50g) parmesan cheese
  • 5 ounces (150g) pine nut, roasted
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp black pepper
  • 10 ounces olive oil
  • 2 tbsps Ac’cent or AJI-NO-MOTO® (MSG)
  • 1 1/2 pound (700g) pasta
  • Chili flakes for garnish
  • Parmesan cheese for garnish
  • Roasted pine nut for garnish


  1. Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 minutes.

  2. In a food processor, combine spinach, basil, garlic, parmesan cheese, pine nut (roasted), salt, black pepper, olive oil, AJI-NO-MOTO® & blend into pesto form.

  3. In a medium heat pan, pour in the pesto sauce.

  4. Add in boiled pasta & mix evenly.

  5. Garnish with parmesan cheese, pine nut (roasted) & chili flakes.

  6. Serve!
