Since our founding over 100 years ago, we have consistently promoted the beneficial functions of amino acids. We have expanded our business activities grobally, pursing not only corporate growth, but also solutions to some of the world's biggest challenges
Our food business, for example
We are developing a wide range of businesses globally based on our "Deliciousness Technology", which is one of the Ajinomoto Group's strength of "AminoScience", and our deeply localized marketing.
One of our particular strengths is our local Ajinomoto Group employees, who use their intimate local knowledge to develop and launch unique services and products, such as the global fermentative production of umami seasoning "AJI-NO-MOTO®" and nucleotide seasonings.
We’ve also leverage "AminoScience" to brought to market products and medical foods that provide added health and nutrition value.
We’ve also been expanding our amino acid and chemical products businesses with manufacturing e and application development of many kinds of amino acids by leveraging their functions. And, using these businesses as our base, we’ve also anticipated innovations in the medical and semiconductor markets to contribute to the realization of a better world.
Through co-creating value with partners in our ecosystem, the accumulation of innovations that only the Ajinomoto Group could create and the creation of new business ventures, we have forged an unmatched competitive ability in the market.
