Ajinomoto Co., Inc. holds the fourth Sustainability Advisory Council Meeting

Ajinomoto Co., Inc. held the fourth Sustainability Advisory Council meeting on October 27, 2022.
At this fourth meeting, the Council members agreed on a report for materiality (material issues) to be reported to the Board of Directors.
With a long-term view to 2050, we expect the Report, which summarizes materiality as a framework for value creation, incorporating the “Hopes & expectation for Ajinomoto Group’s sustainable future” from multi-stakeholder’s perspective, will contribute to the Ajinomoto Group’s corporate value in the future.
We really appreciate the Chair of the Council, Professor Scott Davis (Rikkyo University), for leading this initiative in constructive and future-oriented manner from pre-meeting, first, second, third and fourth Council meetings.
Once the report is accepted by the Board of Directors, the discussion of current Council with current members has concluded and the Council will be dissolved. Subsequent plans of Council are under consideration. A summary of the materiality presented to the Board of Directors and the materiality finally decided by the Board will be published on our website etc. in the future.
