Showcasing Our People: Human Capital Disclosure Page

Mylian Tsukasa Sugawara
AJINOMOTO DO BRASIL INDUSTRIA E COMERCIO DE ALIM
(Assigned to the Global Communication Department of Ajinomoto Co., Inc., the Group's headquarter, until March 2026)

Launched in March 2025, our Human Capital Disclosure Page shares our human capital strategy and the strengths of our people with stakeholders worldwide. The project includes a renewed Japanese site and a new Human Capital page on our global website.

Sharing Our People Story with the World
Our commitment to its people is the same everywhere. What matters is sharing that commitment in ways that respect cultural backgrounds and perspectives. With this in mind, we carefully shaped the content of this project.
Led by the HR Department, the project brought together diverse voices in an open, collaborative environment. Drawing on my experience in the Global Communication Department and my perspective as a foreign employee, I believe was able to contribute meaningfully.
Through this journey, I deepened my understanding of our people-focused initiatives and came to truly believe that everything begins with people. Through our Japanese and global sites, I hope we can share the Ajinomoto Group's people-centered culture with the world.

Head Office Relocation Project

Reimagining the Workplace
"This relocation should be more than a change of address—it should expand what's possible for everyone working here."
Guided by this belief, I have been involved in the project since 2024, ahead of our planned move in the first half of 2026. Through workshops with head office colleagues and dialogue with management, we shaped the office concept—and are now bringing it to life through concrete design and operational planning.
At the new head office, we aim to create more than an efficient and comfortable workplace—we want a space that sparks creativity and encourages connection and co-creation across roles and departments.
Stepping away from our daily routines, we have come together each week with colleagues from different functions, along with architects and designers, to explore questions such as: What kind of environment naturally excites people at work? and What makes a space inspiring for meaningful work?
As we shape the future alongside others who share this vision, I hope this process will continue to nurture new ideas, bold challenges, and innovation.
