Initiatives for Human Rights
At the Ajinomoto Group, respect for human rights is the foundation of everything we do. We not only support international standards such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the ILO Declaration, and the United Nations Global Compact, but we have also established our Group Policy on Respect for Human Rights, guided by the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs).
Through this policy, we are committed to protecting the human rights of everyone connected to our value chain—our employees, suppliers, business partners, local communities, and customers—wherever we operate.
