Ajinomoto Co., Inc. has established a working group to deliberate on better animal welfare

To strengthen initiatives for animal welfare, Ajinomoto Co., Inc. inaugurated a working group under the roundtable on better animal welfare and the first meeting was held on October 30. This working group is composed of people from departments that are directly involved with farm animals, such as the food products business and procurement, and will work together with the roundtable. It will primarily listen to those actually working with livestock industry by having dialogues with stakeholders and will discuss such things as how we should incorporate the viewpoint of animal welfare into business, and will report to the roundtable.

At the first working group meeting, we shared the latest trends in animal welfare. From next time, we plan to add the activities of the working group to the report on the roundtable.
