FY2022 ASV Awards Gold Award

In fiscal 2022, an initiative that contributes to GHG reduction implemented by a global team from the MSG and nucleic acid business took home the Gold Award. This initiative focused on the theme of tackling the challenge of Speed Up x Scale Up by maximizing intangible asset value (contribution to well-being of the planet). To achieve ASV in the MSG and nucleic acid business, the initiative launched the BRIDGE project, a cross-functional effort involving the value chain and overseas subsidiaries. As a result of this project, we have greatly reduced GHG emissions from the manufacturing of MSG and nucleic acid over a short period of time.
