Spinach Pesto Pasta
Ingredients
- 3/4 pound (about 400g) spinach
- 10 ounces (300g) basil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 ounces (50g) parmesan cheese
- 5 ounces (150g) pine nut, roasted
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp black pepper
- 10 ounces olive oil
- 2 tbsps Ac’cent or AJI-NO-MOTO® (MSG)
- 1 1/2 pound (700g) pasta
- Chili flakes for garnish
- Parmesan cheese for garnish
- Roasted pine nut for garnish
Directions
Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 minutes.
In a food processor, combine spinach, basil, garlic, parmesan cheese, pine nut (roasted), salt, black pepper, olive oil, AJI-NO-MOTO® & blend into pesto form.
In a medium heat pan, pour in the pesto sauce.
Add in boiled pasta & mix evenly.
Garnish with parmesan cheese, pine nut (roasted) & chili flakes.
Serve!
