Umami-rich Yong Chow Fried Rice

This easy and yummy chicken and shrimp fried rice is the perfect dish for lunch or dinner.


  • 10 ounces (300g) cooked rice
  • 4 egg yolk
  • 2 ounces (60g) green pea
  • 3 ounces (100g) chicken
  • 2 1/2 ounces shrimp
  • 3 tbsps vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp AJI-NO-MOTO® (MSG)
  • Coriander for garnish
  • Spring onion for garnish


  1. Add egg yolk to cooked rice, mix them and set aside.

  2. Marinate chicken with AJI-NO-MOTO® and soy sauce.

  3. Fry spring onion, chicken, shrimp with vegetable oil.

  4. Season with AJI-NO-MOTO® .

  5. Add in green pea.

  6. Pour in cooked rice and spread evenly.

  7. Garnish with green peas and coriander.
