Umami Stuffed Shiitake Mushrooms
Recipe provided by AJINOMOTO CO., INC
- 6 mushrooms
- 1 tbsp flour
- 3 ounces (100g) pork/beef meat, ground
- 1/2 egg
- 2 tbsps onions, minced
- 2 tbsps breadcrumbs
- Pinch of Ac’cent or AJI-NO-MOTO® (MSG)
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of pepper
- 1 tbsp oil
Carefully break off stems and sprinkle flour on mushroom caps.
In a bowl, put all of the ingredients for stuffing and mix until it gets a little sticky. Fill mushroom caps with filling.
Heat oil in a pan, put mushrooms with the filling side down and fry until it gets brown. Fry another side for 2 minutes.
